Lancashire Advanced Training Skills (LATS) is a Blackburn-based charity dedicated to enhancing the social and professional skills of vulnerable adults and young people in Northwest England. We aim to empower these individuals, including migrants and diaspora communities, to improve their standard of living by providing accessible training opportunities.

Maths / 01
LATS in partner with Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) offers a variety of adult learning maths courses designed to enhance practical numeracy skills for everyday life, work, and further study. These courses are typically free for individuals over 19 who have not achieved a GCSE grade C/grade 4 or higher in maths.
- Must be 19 years old or above
- Employed or unemployed
- Must be a resident in the UK for at least three previous years
- You can do either entry-level 1, 2, or 3 or functional skills in Math
